Welcome to Xmap!

Welcome to the newly minted Xmap website and blog which we will be updating regularly with more information on portable mapping systems for light aircraft, our services and interesting projects we are working on across Australia.

Some of you may have seen initial versions of our mapping pods over at a company called Aerial Acquisitions. Aerial Acquisitions was run by two of Xmap’s directors in Max Eichorn and Erron Gardner and was recently acquired by Xmap, which brought Roger Brennan on board. Xmap plans to pick up the ball and run with it, taking our portable mapping systems to the world. Our vision at Xmap is to make high resolution colour, multispectral and thermal imagery affordable to those who really need it not just those with deep pockets. We plan to do this through using our mapping systems to offer an economical data capture service Australia wide, and through hire / lease of our portable mapping systems.
